The History
Our team was formed in 1980 when members of a local square dance team attended a national square dance meet in Memphis, TN and took some basic clogging workshops that were offered there. The team has had two instructors in the past twenty three years. Curt and Linda Davis helped to begin the team and taught for seven years. Leona Miller took the team over in 1987 and has been instructor and director since. The team consists of adults and children seven to seventy. We are an exhibition team and the team has participated in many other local and national events. United Cerabal Palsy in Jonesboro, Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C., and the Adjudent Generals Conference in Little Rock, AR. to name a few. Our shows are 45 minutes to and hour and we incorporate traditional, bluegrass, country, gospel, pop, rock, and most anything in between.
